Speech & Language Pathologist
Nicole is a well-established, senior level speech pathologist. Her skilled experience in the field has developed from varied speech pathology experience across public hospital, educational and private practice settings. She has worked in New South Wales, Victoria and the United Kingdom.
As the Talking Heads Speech Pathology Clinical Coach, Nicole works closely and collaboratively with the clinical team to continuously grow professionally, and facilitate our clinical service to continue its highest standard of care to clients.
Nicole graduated from the University of Sydney with Class 1 Honours and continues her commitment to high quality and evidence based practice through continuing professional development.
Nicole’s key clinical work is in paediatric speech pathology with experience in both early intervention, preschool and school aged populations. She has experience working with children with language delays and disorders, pragmatic language difficulties, speech sound disorders and delays, stuttering, voice disorders, literacy difficulties and feeding difficulties.
Nicole has specific skills in paediatric feeding having worked at the Royal North Shore Hospital as the paediatric feeding therapist in Neonatal Intensive Care, High Dependency Unit and Special Care Nursery as well as the paediatric ward. She has also worked with feeding clients in the private sector.
Nicole has recently trained in SOS and Prompt therapy and uses her knowledge and experience to create holistic and innovative therapy that is tailored to the individual child and their family.
Outside of her work as a speech pathologist, Nicole is a mother of 3 young children. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking and reading.
