Juliana is a Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Sydney in 2021 with a Masters in Speech Language Pathology.
Juliana has experience working with a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and communication needs across community and private practice. Juliana has experience working with paediatric clients with speech sound disorders/delays, developmental language delays and literacy difficulties. She also has experience working with paediatric and adult clients with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and Global Developmental Delay.
In addition, she has experience working with adults who have suffered traumatic brain injury as well as acquired neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease. She has also worked with paediatric and adult clients with complex communication needs requiring augmentative and alternative communication systems including Key Word Sign and LAMP (language acquisition through motor planning).
She is particularly passionate about working with paediatric and adult clients and their families with Traumatic Brain Injury to provide the best evidence-based practice and facilitate success for clients within a family-centred approach.
Juliana interacts with all clients and their families in a holistic manner to understand the daily life of clients to provide functional and valuable strategies to increase the quality of everyday life.
