
Genevieve is a compassionate, empathetic and hardworking clinician. She chose a career in Speech Pathology, as she has a passion for helping others achieve their full potential and making a difference in the lives of others.
Genevieve’s caring and approachable nature allows her to develop strong connections with clients and their families. She strongly believes in collaborating with family members to ensure that they are a part of their client’s therapy and progress. Developing individualised and personalised goals for each client is her key motivation in speech therapy. Genevieve believes that with support, persistence and teamwork, children and adults are able to thrive and achieve their goals.
Genevieve has had experience in a variety of settings, including community health, hospitals, school settings in addition to a communication disorder and research clinic. She has experience providing assessment and treatment to both children and adults in areas such as speech sound difficulties, language delays, stuttering, social skills, literacy and voice difficulties. Genevieve is passionate about all areas of Speech Pathology, but has a particular interest in speech sound disorders, voice and literacy.
In her spare time, Genevieve loves following sports such as tennis and basketball, exploring new places to eat and spending time with her family and friends. In addition, Genevieve is a team player with a strong volunteering focus, dedicating her time with St Vincent de Paul in providing services for the homeless community.
Genevieve graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is committed to professional development and evidence-based practice in order to best support clients and their families.
