
Danielle brings a diverse background of skills and experiences to her work as a Speech Pathologist. She graduated from Sydney University with a degree in Applied Science, majoring in Speech Pathology in 1998. She then embarked on 2 years of international travel, where she developed an understanding and appreciation of the similarities and differences in the communicative styles of various cultures. Upon her return to Australia, she pursued a career in her family’s business.
Her passion for a career in Speech Pathology was renewed whilst listening to her children’s speech and language develop. She completed the Master of Speech and Language Pathology at Macquarie University in 2018. With children in the pre-school, infant, and primary years, she has a particular interest in speech sound disorders, and has worked with children with articulation, and phonological delays and disorders. She is also highly interested in literacy, having done specific training in the MULTI-LIT program, and worked at the MULTI-LIT centre at Macquarie University. and has a thorough knowledge of the five keys to reading success, and has implemented assessment and therapy in individual and group settings. Danielle is committed to providing an holistic, evidence based approach for her clients and their families so that their communication goals can be achieved.
