Alice is an Allied Health Assistant and full-time Speech and Language Pathology Master’s student at Charles Darwin University. Alice also has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wollongong in Psychology. Alice has a friendly, positive, and professional approach when working with clients of all backgrounds to implement evidence-based therapy approaches so that clients can participate within their social and learning environments.
Alice has always had an interest in children’s development and understanding the importance that speech and language play in a child’s well-being. Alice has worked as a primary school educator and Assistant Coordinator for the last three years in the Inner West of Sydney. She worked with many children with ASD, ADHD and intellectual disabilities as well as mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. Alice has also completed a placement in Darwin, NT which afforded onsite knowledge of different cultural backgrounds.
