This month we are getting to know our fantastic clinician, Marianne, a little bit more!
Why did you choose to study Speech Pathology?
I have always wanted to lend a helping hand and make a difference in people’s lives. I was motivated by the opportunity to help people in the valuable everyday life activities of communicating, eating, and drinking.
What is your favourite part of being a Speech Pathologist?
Putting a smile on my clients faces and assisting families to achieve their own individual goals.
What is your favourite part of working with THSP?
I am lucky enough to work alongside a fabulous team who work together and have experience in a wide variety of areas. THSP offers a very welcoming and friendly environment.
Who is your favourite superhero?
Does Baymax from Big Hero 6 count?! Baymax is a gentle superhero, showing awesome qualities of love and compassion.
What was your favourite book as a child / favourite kids book now?
The whole Harry Potter series – I still love these magical books as an adult!
