Kathryn is a dually qualified Speech Pathologist and Classroom Teacher who has recently joined our team. She has over 14 years combined experienced working with both children and adults in an extensive range of health and educational settings, including 4 years of practice in the UK.
Kathryn values working in close partnership with clients, families, Teachers and Health Professionals, to ensure that treatment is holistic and adaptable. She has extensive experience working with school aged children with Language, Learning and Literacy needs within a classroom and individualsetting. Kathryn is passionate about Early Intervention and training families and caregivers to maximise their child’s communication skills in everyday situations.
Kathryn seeks to motivate clients to become the best communicators they can be, by developing self-awareness skills and utilising individual strengths and interests. She is particularly interested in enhancing clients’ social and emotional well-being through improving communication skills.
Kathryn loves swimming, yoga, iced coffee and spending time with her 1 year old daughter. She has a passion for travelling and has visited almost 50 countries in Asia and Europe. Kathryn loves trying new foods and meeting new people. She is a loyal supporter of the Sydney Swans AFL team.
Kathryn completed her Speech Pathology training at the University of Sydney and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
