Angela Stankovska is a passionate and energetic speech and language pathologist. She is multi-lingual, able to speak Macedonian fluently as well as understand Serbian and Croatian.
Her motivation for studying in the area of Speech Pathology was to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families. She has worked closely with a range of disorders and disabilities including speech and language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Global Developmental Delay. She has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community health centres and schools alongside clients, parents and teachers providing assessment and therapy services to children aged 2-16 years.
She is passionate about providing a family centered practice and is dedicated in assisting families through the assessment and therapy process by working alongside parents. She maintains an energetic persona during her therapy sessions and ensures sessions are enjoyable and functional. She ensures sessions are enjoyable to assist in compliance and motivation during sessions to ultimately achieve optimal results.
Outside of her passion in working with children and adults as a speech pathologist, Angela is passionate about health and well-being. She enjoys spending a lot of time at the gym and experimenting ways to stay fit. Angela loves spending time with her friends and family and relaxing at the beach. She also enjoys travelling and searching for the best food around the world.
Angela has also had a wide range of experiences in working with adults following a stroke with acquired brain injury, dysarthria as well as voice disorders. She provides a functional yet motivating service to increase their confidence and aims to promote independence.
